In celebration of his 100th birth anniversary on November 8, 2011, the Godofredo P. Ramos Memorial Foundation (GPRMF), together with the Provincial Tourism Council and the Aklan Historical and Cultural Society has lined up a variety of commemorative activities. This includes the printing and selling of commemorative plates with the notion of raising funds for the newly established Aklan Historical and Cultural Society. These commemorative plates are now on sale and can be purchased at the Museo it Akean and the Aklan Tourism Office. These plates, under the LTO rules, vehicle owners can be legally displayed in front of the car but the regular plate issued to the car remained attached at the rear.
