ose Niego, Ms. Lorelei Poli and the 17 towns of Aklan who participated in the two day seminar on People’s Law Enforcement Board (PLEB). The seminar was held at the Corazon Cabagnot Training Center from May 11 to May 12 2011. According to t Vice Mayor Regalado in her welcoming remarks, the orientation on PLEB is a government program that plays a major role in strengthening the awareness of victims and also the would be victims of erring uniformed members of the Philippine National Police. She also said that this will encourage such individuals to come out to seek justice if ever they become victims of atrocities by the Law Enforcers especially by the PNP.
She also added;”Ang seminar na ito ay maghahatid ng malawak na kaalaman sa ating mga kapatid, lalong lalo na sa mga biktima ng katiwalian na ang may gawa ay mga tauhan ng PNP. Mapapanatagan gating mga mamamayan na sila
ay hindi pinababayaan n gating pamahalaan. Na sila ay may mapupuntahang mga makakatulong sa kanila pagdating ng panahon na sila ay makaranas ng hindi kaaya ayang karanasan na gawa n gating mga taga PNP. That this will enhance the upliftment of the good moral values of our men in uniform. Not all men in uniform are crooks. Only a few, and I believe that there are many who are loyal to the service, and we salute you for being so. Keep up the good work.” /TE
