Christmas is a time that many of us spend with our families, whilst for others it is a time for sober reflection. It is a time for giving, and a time to spare a thought for our fellow human beings, especially those less fortunate than ourselves.
The staff at The Explorer would like to extend their Christmas greetings to all of our readers.
To celebrate this special occasion I would like to set down the verses of a song originally written by Bob Dylan for the legendary folk singer Joan Baez.
May God bless you and keep you
always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
And may you stay
forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the light surround you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
And may you stay
forever young.
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the wind of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
And may you stay
forever young.
