The second briefing of the Expanded Municipal Planning and Development Meeting, the Presentation and Adoption of Executive-Legislative Agenda and Capacity Development Plan for Current Year 2010- 2013 was held on August 25,2010.
The event was headed by the new mayor, Honorable William S. Lachica. The involvement of the inhabitants of Kalibo and its surrounding areas in this new administration was welcomed by over seventy attendees of this forum that came from different sector of the community. The minutes of the last meeting were presented by Mr. Edgardo M.Gerardo,MDC Secretariat, for correction and valuable input from the attendees.
The Vision and Mission of the new administration are as follows:
VISION: A dynamic , empowered and progressive community, proud of its cultural heritage, advocating ecological balance, promoting sustainable agro-trade and eco-tourism opportunities, governed by GOD-fearing proactive, politically-mature and resilient leaders and citizenry.
MISSION: To install effective and efficient policies in accord with the changes of time that could sustain the development of Kalibo and the socio-economic, political, cultural, moral and spiritual well-being of the Kalibonhon./WVE
