Dr. Remedios Cipriano Gammad, a retired doctor from the USA, together with her sister Mrs. Clarita Fernandez, a retired MEd Tech, and with the help of their friend, Mrs. Lucy Marte-Reloj, also a retired nurse from the USA, continue their free medical services to the locals of Barangay Pook. They started this mission in January this year and since then, the people that received the benefit of this free medical services continue to grow.
The free health medical services is held at the Don Simeon Cipriano Library every last Saturday of the month. Fifty two people benefited this month’s medical mission
The medical service includes, blood sugar and blood pressure testing.Aside from the medical services being offered by the sisters, they also provide ample breakfast for the patients.(CCH)./TE
